American Head Charge seeks nu guitarist. Influences: Mudvayne, percoset.

Bryan Ottoson, guitarist with the Twin Cities metal band American Head Charge, was found dead Tuesday before the group's concert with Mudvayne in North Charleston, S.C.

A band spokeswoman said Ottoson was found in his bunk on the tour bus. Cause of death was uncertain, pending an autopsy. MTV News quoted a local police source who said it was an overdose from a prescription drug, but the band's publicist could not confirm or deny.

A Death in Rome

When I called my 93 year-old, Italian, Roman-Catholic grandmother in Brooklyn to talk about The Pope's passing, she said "He was a good man. A good man. I really had a thing for him."
I forgot to mention that I've been hoping for this moment so I could win back the $20 I wagered on his death. OH THE SHAME.
Who will go next?? Whitney Houston?
This isn't our official Dead Pool site is it? I forget.
What gives, where's all the commentary and PONTIFICATION?

Sun keeps risin'

And drummers keep dyin'. Crowded House is a little less crowded now. Does anyone else think this odd, the number of drummers that have died in the first three months of ought five? And Keith Richards is STILL alive. Dave Grohl made a wise career move from behind the kit to up front.

back at work

Rhehnquhist is back at work judging America. I'm sure that's good news for someone, somewhere.

shooting

Am I wrong here, or did everyone make a much bigger deal out of Columbine than they are about the Red Lake Reservation?
Is this racism or are we just getting more accustomed to school shootings?
I'm glad I'm not a teacher. Seems like dangerous work these days.
No offense to the teachers out there.
